Javier Goyes a music producer, sound engineer, and composer born in Colombia. Moved to London at the age of 18 to become a professional musician. In 2005, he completed his B.A. degree in Music, Technology, and Innovation at the University of De Montfort.

During his undergrad studies, he applied for an internship at Sony Music Studios in London (2002). Through this internship he met Julio Iglesias, when he was recording his album Divorcio. Things went well, that he was hired to work for Julio Iglesias as his assistant sound engineer until 2003.

From 2004 to 2013, he worked for Phil Manzanera the lead guitarist for Roxy Music and a renowned English record producer. Javier began working for him as a studio assistant and worked his way up to becoming a Chief Sound Engineer rather quickly. He was lucky enough to work with many incredibly talented artists, such as:

David Gilmour, Andy Mackay, Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes), Hot Chip, Jerry Meehan (who plays the bass for Robbie Williams), Leszek Możdżer and Guy Pratt (from Pink Floyd).

Keen to travel and further expand his skills and hone his craft within music, Javier moved to Berlin, Germany from 2014 to 2018. During his time in Berlin, Javier worked as a sound engineer and music producer for local artists based in Berlin.

In 2017 (Switzerland), Javier was hired to work for Jacky Milliet Jazz band to collaborate with the “Jackey Milliet Rare Recordings” CD album. He was the sound engineer on different recording sessions and was involved in the digitalizing, mixing and mastering old tunes that appear on the album.

Currently, Javier is living in Los Angeles, California working with the Grammy winner band Ozomatli.
